Stockz (also known as “Skateboard Cane”, government name: Myles Anderson) is a Los Angeles-based recording artist.
A Houston native, Stockz began his creative journey by songwriting, rapping, directing music videos and modeling in 2011. His breakout mixtape, “Breathing Room”, was released in 2011, and followed by “MylesDEEP” and “IGNORANCE EP”, released in 2012 and 2014, respectively.
Stockz headlined the Revolt TV/McDonald’s Local Love Tour in 2015 (*1.), and has since shared concert stages with a range of established artists, including Young Jeezy, The Pharcyde, Shwayze, GunPlay, Bobby Shmurda, Lil Debbie, E-40, OG RON C & THE CHOPSTARS, Rae Sremmurd, GUAPDAD 4000, iAMSU, Gucci Mane and Warm Brew.
In 2016, Stockz heard his song "Love It" on the radio for the first time while listening to Houston’s 93.7 FM The Beat's “Chop Not Slop Show” hosted by OG RON C & The Chopstars. Soon after, the station also picked up two additional Stockz singles, "Bop To The Top" and "Some More." Stockz relocated to Los Angeles later that year to pursue his entertainment career full time. While independently releasing videos/singles throughout 2017 and 2018 Stockz gained the attention of executives from Jay-Z's RocNation label, and became their newest management signee in late 2018. Beyond his artistry, Stockz has been selected to model for a number of notable brands, including Nike, Jordan Brand, New Balance, FinishLine, FootAction, BMS France, MLB Korea, Pink Dolphin, Popular Demand, DOPE, Moschino, Young & Reckless, JOYRICH, Playboy and Fashion Nova. In 2018 Stockz signed with O Models for Los Angeles modeling representation.
